# iATS CiviCRM Extension 1.9.0

This release is a maintenance release for the 1.x series. 

It is recommended for all CiviCRM installs on 5.63+ and above. 

Note that as of this release, we've started using semantic versioning.

This release covers 3 issues and improvements since Oct 2023.

1. convert use of _paymentObject in buildForm hook (issue 438, thanks to Eileen)
2. Convert IATS Settings to be standard practice (thanks Seamus and Karin)
3. Fix for Smarty 3+4 (thanks Armin Kathrein)
